Details Primary Function: Connect two shafts of either the same or of two different sizes. Shaft attachment is attained in 2 different ways : Finished Bore; Bushing System; Connected with setscrews; Bore of Coupling is machined smaller than the shaft. Secondary Function: Incorporates shaft angular misalignment that's measured as an angle between two shafts; Causes : Improperly mounted motors; Bent Shaft; Skewed Bushing.
